Dear Neighbours

First time blogging in a while – I have scads of recipes and some nifty photos, plus another project car (and the saga therein!) to share. But first, I wanted to share with you a letter to my next door neighbours. I will go into things in more detail later, but suffice it to say that I have moved with my family to a neat little bungalow which is right across from the local RCMP detachment. Featuring a close up of the luminous California Poppy, the picture is made with watercolors. The pine box is painted with acrylics, and lined with satin. A nice little reminder of California for my friend! Continue reading Prezzie Time

How do we peel of the shell once they’re frozen, you ask? 🙂 I’ll show you! Step 1: Get a muffin tin. (See where I’m going with this?) Step 2: Crack eggs into your muffin tin cups. Step 3: Freeze the muffin tin in the freezer. Make sure it’s level, or you’ll have nothing but frozen yolks and a messy icebox. Step 4: Make certain your eggs are completely frozen. Eggs thaw … Continue reading Freezing Eggs
