Propitiously, I watered the ducks today and found this beautiful creation by Mother Nature

… okay, it might have had a bit of help from me and my kettle.

I heat up water for the animals when it’s chill and frosty – the ducks seem to like to wet their bills in the warm water. Today, I added the boiling water to my handy farm bucket which had large ice plug in it… and voila!

You may call it Science, but I prefer Nature – and she’s beautiful 🙂 She even thoughtfully decorated the basin with a maple leaf from last autumn!
