First time blogging in a while – I have scads of recipes and some nifty photos, plus another project car (and the saga therein!) to share. But first, I wanted to share with you a letter to my next door neighbours. The recent talk of a Shaw and Rogers merger – for those outside the Canadian bubble, these are the two great behemoths of internet and cellular provision in our country – raises important questions about what constitutes a public resource, who should govern it… and how easily Canadian media falls into the soothing lullaby of “federal oversight will keep it fair”.
